Intensive (or "semi-intensive") courses are perfect if you need your licence quickly — for a new job, uni, or because you're a confident learner who just wants to get it done. We tailor the hours to your experience, from a short refresher to a full beginner course.
You book your own practical test (DVSA rules), and we'll do our best to help you find an earlier cancellation date. Available in both manual and automatic across Manchester.

How an intensive course works
Every course starts with a two-hour assessment, so we recommend the hours you actually need — 10 if you've driven before and just need polishing, up to 20 if you're building from a lower base. If the assessment says you need more than that, we'll tell you honestly and put you on regular lessons instead: it works out better for you than committing to a block you may outgrow. Then we schedule those hours around you: typically 2–4 hours a day over one to four weeks, with a written plan and a mock test before the real thing. You book your own practical test (DVSA rules — the £65 fee is separate), and you'll need your theory passed before the practical can be booked, so tell us where you're up to and we'll sequence it properly.
Is an intensive course right for you?
Intensives suit people with a deadline (job offer, visa, university), confident learners who hate dragging things out, and anyone who's close to test-ready and wants a final concentrated push. They're less suited to complete beginners who've never sat in the driver's seat — for most of those we recommend starting with a few standard lessons, then switching to an intensive block once the basics are in. We'll advise you honestly either way.
